Sri Bharati Vidyaniketana

In rural areas, even though cultural traits are ingrained into the young minds, the availability of effective modern education, especially to the girls, is still at lapse.

An understanding of this fact, and the knowledge of the potential of well cultured and well educated women to reform the society is what has initiated an innovative effort,

Sri Bharati Vidyanikethana, an english medium high school for rural girls at Chadaravalli, Sagara Tq, Shimoga Dt, Karnataka, India.

Sri Bharati Vidyanikethana aims at providing wholesome education covering cultural, community and modern educational aspects to mould girls into successful individuals capable of reforming the society.

Mahabala Prathistanam is a nonprofit organization run by few volunteers like us who wanted to offer educational help to students who cannot fully finance their education on their own. The trust runs a residential girls high school and provide s heavily subsidised education and accommodation to students.

With contributions of various forms, we have been able to build the basic infrastructure to run the school. The school now has classrooms, hostel facility, staff and computers.

The school is located in a rural area far from the city, so we are able t o keep our costs low. Many of our students come from economically backward families and are not able to pay all fees and accommodation expenses. We intend to provide them all the help and in order for us to assist them,

we seeks your participation and support to Sri Bharati Vidyanikethana.

Sponsorship of students

Donation for the building, equipment, library Donation of Books, Equipments, Computers, Utensils, Lab Equipments, Sports Equipments, Music Instruments, Contribute your time (guest lectures at the school, raise funds etc.)

Sponsoring of Cultural / educational programmes at the School.

$100 - Sponsor a student for 2 semesters

$215 - Sponsor a student for one year ($115 for education & $100 for accommodation and food)

$650 - Sponsor a student during all 3 years of her high school education
